Marek Rudzki of Cedar Rapids was diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma, a form of brain and spinal cancer. During surgeries he received three times his body volume in donated blood. He would not be alive and healthy today without volunteer blood donors. Your donation matters!
Shuttleworth & Ingersoll invites all those in the downtown business community to roll up their sleeves and donate blood on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as part of a community blood drive hosted by The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC).The blood drive will take place in the basement of the U.S. Bank Building, located at 115 3rd Street SE in Cedar Rapids.Anyone interested in donating may sign up to donate online or call the blood center at 1-800-747-5401.Presenting donors will receive their choice of a MVRBC winter hat or a $5 Starbucks gift card. Donors must bring a photo ID and eat before donating. Those that have donated blood since November 14, 2017, are ineligible to donate on January 9, 2018.
