Voted Best Law Firm for the 7th time, Shuttleworth Continues to Bring the Results
July 14, 2020Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. is proud to be voted The Best Law Firm for the seventh time by the Corridor Business Journal’s 2020 Best of the Corridor awards. The readership of the CBJ represents the most accomplished and committed professionals of the eastern Iowa community, and it is a honor for the firm to be listed besides the caliber of businesses included in this list. One of the Corridor’s oldest firms, Shuttleworth & Ingersoll is continuing to bring results for its customers, winning the Best Law Firm category for the seventh time. “With over 160 years in operation, making us one of the oldest organizations in the Corridor, we are rooted in tradition but progressive in our ideals,” said Marketing Director Alexis Dagit. The firm consistently makes strategic decisions to foster equity and diversity, with gender equality from senior to asso- ciate level positions, she said. That emphasis “has spurred a collaborative approach across our practice areas and amongst our offices.” The firm’s many advantages include innovative and transparent pricing models, which allow clients to make choices about the legal services they receive, attorneys in a wide range of specialties who understand client needs, and a new agile workflow system that enables staff to work remotely without compromising client needs. One of the firm’s members, Attorney Dana Oxley, was appointed last year to the Iowa Supreme Court, and dozens of its attorneys have been recognized by the state’s highest court annually for donating more than SO hours of legal services.
