The Iowa Workers Compensations Advisory Committee (IWCAC) is a statewide organization comprised of 6 constituent groups; claimant attorneys, defense attorneys, insurance, labor, management, and health care. IWCAC was founded to serve four essential purposes; To assist and advise as requested by the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commissioner in the administration of laws about Iowa Workers’ Compensation, to promote the administration of justice, to provide continuing education in the area of workers’ compensation laws, to take further action as necessary to enhance the effectiveness of workers’ compensation laws and their administration.The two-day, annual symposium hosted by IWCAC garnered an attendance of over 350 local attorneys and insurance and health care representatives. Attorney and Senior Vice President Terri Davis concluded her term as IWCAC president to close out the symposium, a position previously held by retired Shuttleworth attorney John Bickel.

Terri C. Davis is an Attorney and Senior Vice President at Shuttleworth. She focuses her practice in Employment Law and Litigation, including employment related litigation, commercial litigation, product liability, and the handling of administrative trials, including utilities cases and workers compensation. She advises employers on employment matters, and assists with policy review and development, as well as handling of investigations and complaints, both internal and before civil rights commissions.
