Shuttleworth & Ingersoll completes move to former Gazette building in downtown Cedar Rapids

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Shuttleworth & Ingersoll is pleased to announce that the firm has moved its Cedar Rapids location to the newly renovated former Gazette building at 235 6th St. SE in downtown Cedar Rapids.
Dating back to 1925, the Gazette building housed the newspaper for 95 years until 2020. Shuttleworth’s move allows the firm to continue to be part of the on-going vitality of downtown Cedar Rapids while making changes that prioritize efficient use of space, client accessibility and an investment in technology for the benefit of the firm’s clients.

Renovations of the former Gazette building honored the building’s history, drawing inspiration from pictures of the structure as it stood nearly a century ago. The exterior of the building has been restored to its original condition by enlarging window openings and uncovering the brick exterior.
Inside, the building is fully ADA accessible, with open gathering spaces that highlight the building’s historic beauty. Shuttleworth & Ingersoll and its over 100 employees, with other primary offices in Coralville and Waterloo, are proud to welcome clients into the firm’s new Cedar Rapids location. An open house is expected in September with additional details to be announced at a later date.
