Don Johnson Talks Estate Planning at Annual Thrive Expo

Don Johnson, attorney and senior vice president at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, presented information on the topic of estate planning to attendees of The Gazette’s annual Thrive Expo on Sunday, September 9, at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center in Cedar Rapids.Don’s message included a discussion of the basic estate planning documents and challenges that families face when planning. Don also provided comments regarding the importance of being organized and of managing expectations of certain family members, which are keys to avoiding problems during the administration process.The Thrive Expo is an event for who are planning for or are in the early phases of retirement.
