An Important Message to Our Clients Regarding COVID-19 & Our Firm’s Response
Dear Clients, Community, Partners, and Friends,
Shuttleworth & Ingersoll is determined to do our part to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) while ensuring that all of your legal needs continue to be met. Like so many other members of our community, we have temporarily changed the way we do business in an effort to limit exposure. We believe these steps are in the best interests of our valued clients, employees, and our community at-large.
At this time, Shuttleworth & Ingersoll has transitioned to a remote work environment for both our Cedar Rapids and Coralville offices. We are postponing all large-format events and have instructed all personnel to reduce any unnecessary in-person meetings or hold them via phone or video conference. An extremely reduced staff will continue to report into the main office for essential functions and urgent client matters.
We are confident that our clients will not see any disruption to the legal services we provide. Since the 2008 flood, our firm has made major strides to move to a secure, electronic file system that allows us the flexibility to offer exceptional service anywhere, at any time. Please don’t hesitate to contact any of our attorneys or staff – we are still available at our usual phone numbers and email addresses.
As we work together to efficiently navigate this ever-evolving situation, here are a few recommendations for how we can communicate more effectively during this challenging time.
- Shuttleworth & Ingersoll is here for you. You are welcome to communicate with your attorney, paralegal, or staff member by email or phone. We also have video conferencing capability if the need arises.
- If you need to meet with a member of our firm in-person, we are retaining the ability to meet with clients when absolutely necessary. However, this may mean we come to you, rather than you coming to the office. We will work with you to determine the best solution given your need.
- Since every day brings new information and new variables to consider, we will continue to update our website and social media channels with any pertinent information. We actively post information of interest to our clients and the community on the following accounts:
Our community has faced difficult circumstances in the past, and we’ve always come through with a combination of teamwork, compassion, and perseverance. We have no doubt that we’ll overcome this challenge as well. In the meantime, please know that your well-being remains our top priority.
Be safe, and let us know if you need us. We are stronger together.
SHUTTLEWORTH & INGERSOLL, P.L.C.
