Marty Stoll, attorney and senior vice president at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, addressed members of the Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors at their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at the Scottish Rite Temple in Cedar Rapids.Marty discussed procedural updates from the Linn County Auditor’s office, changes to mechanic’s lien laws, and how a recent ruling from the Iowa Court of Appeals clarifies rights of first refusal and other real estate property contract rights in the case West Lakes Properties, L.C. vs Greenspon Property Management, Inc.
