10 Million and Counting: Shuttleworth & Ingersoll Issued Patent with Historic New Cover

The new patent cover unveiled by the USPTO
Attorney Tim Klima and Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. have been listed as the attorney and firm for U.S. patent no. 10,006,467, which marks the firm’s first patent issued past the 10 million mark, a significant milestone for the history of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This patent was issued June 26, 2018, to inventor Volker Guemmer and patent assignee Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG, titled “Assembly For A Fluid Flow Machine”.In anticipation of U.S. patent no. 10,000,000, the USPTO unveiled a new patent cover at South by Southwest on March 11, 2018, to replace a cover that was last updated in 1985. The first to receive the new cover, U.S. patent no. 10,000,000 was issued on June 19, 2018, to inventor Joseph Marron and patent assignee Raytheon Company.In celebration of this historic milestone, the USPTO published a narrative timeline called Patents Through History, outlining the 225-plus year history of patents in the United States of America, which features the following video.
