Shuttleworth’s appellate attorneys play a unique role within our firm. We specialize in nearly everything related to the legal research and writing necessary for our clients’ cases. We are proud to say we are nerds about the law.

Our experienced bullpen of appellate attorneys work closely with our litigation teams to craft the best possible case for our clients. This includes drafting and arguing motions at the trial court, assisting with trial preparation, researching and analyzing discrete legal questions, and handling appeals. The only appeals we do not handle are criminal appeals.

Shuttleworth attorneys have been involved in cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, inducted into the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, and listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in Appellate Law. Many served as judicial law clerks and law review editors.
