Shuttleworth & Ingersoll prides itself on having a positive, upbeat working environment for our attorneys and staff. We strongly encourage open communication between each of the partners and associates. In addition to the open communication between attorneys, each new associate at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll is paired with a mentor. This mentor serves as both an informal sounding board, and as a formal advisor for the new attorney.

Each associate is also provided feedback on their work. This feedback is given both on an informal basis and with a more formal, annual evaluation.

Finally, our associates are encouraged to maintain a strong balance between their work and life activities. We always have been and always will be a family-friendly law firm. We encourage our associates to get involved and play an active role in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and surrounding areas.
