Teresa B. Morio (formerly Baumann) is an attorney at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. who practices primarily in motion and appellate work. Prior to joining Shuttleworth & Ingersoll in 2019, Teresa practiced in several different areas in Cedar Rapids and Ames, Iowa. She practiced for several years as an assistant United States attorney for the Northern District of Iowa, where she focused on appellate practice in both criminal and civil law, tried criminal cases, and served as the office’s professional responsibility officer and ethics officer. Between 2005 and 2008, Teresa served as an elbow law clerk to the Honorable Judge Linda R. Reade in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa. She worked as an assistant attorney general at the Iowa Department of Transportation, and, most recently, Teresa worked as in-house counsel specializing in labor/employment and litigation at Alliant Energy.
